A quick note about affiliate advertisements
Lee | Jul 18, 2010 | Comments 2
I just wanted to let everyone know that you may see from time to time some affiliate advertising from folks whose products I like. I spend a considerable amount of dough supporting this site and plan to use affiliate advertising to help fund the efforts at ADNW. I will only become an affiliate for products I believe in or are connected in some way to the content on the site. Trust me, I don’t need the affiliate income to pay my bills but I thought it would be fun to see how it all works, and if it helps support the site all the better. If you feel inclined to own products featured in the affiliate advertising please use the links and it will help support the content at ADNW in a small way.
Sincerely,
Lee

Great wisdom, Lee. I added an Amazon.com book widget for the same reason. Except it doesn’t cost me money to do my blog! Still, I figured I love to read and I decided to put books on there that I like or want in the hopes that maybe someone else might see something that they want. I know it won’t pay a single bill but a wee credit towards my next book purchase from Amazon would be nice. That said, I’ve earned nary a penny! LOL
I guess I will see what happens. I like the idea of affiliate marketing but you have to have the traffic to make it work!
