Dawn at Red Rock Park, Sedona

So far this is my favorite of the shots I took in Sedona. My friend Ric and I stood in the field at 5:30am in the dark waiting for this moment. It only lasted about five minutes and it just seemed to get better every second. The quail were having a field day listening to their own calls bouncing off of the rocks. It was quite peaceful and a truly special place!

So beautiful, Lee! You have inspired my husband’s photography love anew!

I’m so glad your husband is getting excited about photography. I feel like with most things…excitement and passion really motivates us to hone our skills, which fuels the desire to pursue our interests even more. If he sets up a flicker account or something, send me a link. I would love to see how it goes!

  3. That is such a beautiful photograph. My parents used to have a house just across from Bell Rock in Sedona. You have captured it so well, it is amazing. I tried to climb it once or twice….very slippery.

I am so happy to have seen your post today. I would love to try one of your challenges. Can anyone take part in them?

Thank you Barbara for the kind comments about the photo. Sure! Anyone can participate in the challenges. We are here to have some fun and grow as artists!
