Venice, Italy Water Taxi Video

For grins, I thought I would take a Flip Video recorder to Italy with me. Although I was not able to take too much video since I was taking so many photos with my still camera, I did manage to video a few snippets of our water taxi ride in Venice. The taxi picked us up right at the back glass doors of our hotel and got us to the airport in 20 minutes flat! It is a bit pricy for only two people to ride but we did not want to fuss with the extra time and baggage carrying to get the much cheaper vaporetto and bus. The water taxi gets going pretty fast in the lagoon and it was kind of crazy hearing a few horns and seeing road-like traffic on the canal.

Pretty cool! That boat gets trucking out in the open water. You could have gone wakeboarding
Hi Perry. Yep, the boat had some get up and go! Some of the taxis were pretty sweet with beautiful wood tops and cabins. They almost looked like furniture. Hope all is well in professional artist land. Take care!
