Bellagio Alley
from $143.50
This image was taken in the town of Bellagio, Italy on Lake Como. The rustic Italian architecture on a sun-drenched September day made for a perfect scene in this charming alleyway. This image presents with a distressed texture to complement the spirit of the scene. Please see the catalog for traditional black and white and sepia versions of this piece.

Hong Kong Junk
from $143.50
This photographs show one of the few remaining junk boats left in Hong Kong Harbor. This one is used for tourist rides. The thick, humid atmosphere separates the modern Hong Kong skyline from the traditional design of the junk. I feel that this image looks especially nice in the floating frame options but feel free to choose the full frame options if you prefer.

Venice Canal
from $143.50
A quiet canal in Venice, Italy illuminated by beautiful Italian sunlight and thick atmosphere. This photograph brings any room to life with its classic Italian feel and old world charm. I feel that this photograph looks very nice in the black or wood frame options.

Sandstone Creek Oil Painting from Study
Here is the final image of the Sandstone Creek piece with final touch ups and less glare in the photo. I ended up making the vertical mass of trees on the left darker, added more depth to the foreground bushes, and broke up the middle ground field a bit. I like the way this turned [...]

Sandstone Ranch Creek Study
I created this study during the John Taft plein air workshop a couple of weeks ago and it will be the inspiration for an 18×24 studio painting this weekend. After analyzing the study for a while, I have decided to change the composition a bit to include another bend in the river. Fortunately, before leaving [...]
Plein Air Painting from John Taft Workshop
So this is my first plein air painting – after instruction – from the John Taft workshop I attended two weeks ago. The painting before this was on the first day that we went out before having a lecture or live demonstration. Needless to say, I feel that this one turned out better than that [...]
A Quick Trip to Tokyo
On our way to Beijing, my son Matt and I stopped in Tokyo for two and a half days. If you ever visit, be sure to take the Narita Express from the Airport to Tokyo. Just look for the JR (Japan Rail) signs and go to a ticket counter for a hassle-free experience. It was [...]

I travel the world in search of beauty and bring home what I see through my lens.
By sharing what I learn along the way, I hope to inspire others to pursue their passions daily.
