Introducing the ADNW Passion Award
Lee | May 22, 2009 | Comments 2

In keeping with the purpose of the ADNW blog, I would like to introduce a way to reward people for stepping out of their comfort zone to try something that they have always dreamed of doing. ADNW will reveal the first recipient of the ADNW Passion Award in June. ADNW plans to give one award per month and welcomes nominations. If selected for an award, the recipient will be featured on the ADNW blog and will receive an embroidered ADNW apron. Self-nominations will also be considered. ADNW is doing this merely to help promote the idea of encouraging others to find, pursue and live their passions. Look for the first award winner during the first two weeks of June.
Sincerely,
Lee

That is a terrific idea and will work perfect for your site!
Thanks for the feedback Randy. I hope to get some traction with the idea. It has been interesting how the “A Day Not Wasted” concept clicks with some people. I have had folks that would never think of buying a sketchpad pick one up. The dedicated folks in the blogosphere help reduce the barriers to creative expression as well. Part of the challenge is just letting people know that the community exists.
